Whit Starrett is a seasoned land broker with deep roots in Mississippi’s outdoors. Raised amidst the state’s rich landscapes, he developed a profound appreciation for hunting and the management of family-owned timberland. Whit pursued higher education at Mississippi State University, earning a degree in construction management and land development. Since obtaining his broker’s license in 2008, he has continually expanded his expertise in developing recreational timberland tracts and commercial properties across South Mississippi.
Throughout his career, Whit has adeptly guided clients in acquiring properties suited for subdivision development, timber farming, hunting, and residential purposes, among others. His comprehensive understanding of the region’s diverse land opportunities ensures tailored solutions that align with each client’s unique objectives.
An active participant in professional and community organizations, Whit holds memberships with the Forrest/Lamar County Forestry Association, the Hattiesburg Area Association of Realtors, The Mississippi Association of Realtors, and the National Association of Realtors.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Whit possesses extensive knowledge in developing and cultivating food plots and creating diverse wildlife habitats. His passion for the outdoors is most evident when spending time outdoors with his kids at the family farm.
